Quality Lab Associate I

Duration: 12 Months Contract (Extension Possible)


Position Summary:

Assist with room qualifications for the New North Mixing Complex. Provide support to EMPQ SME and EM Lab for New North Mix Complex qualification activities.


Job responsibilities

• Collect environmental monitoring samples throughout the facility following Standard Operating Procedures on a defined frequency

• Operate equipment such as SAS Air Sampler and Climet Particle Counter for the purpose of collecting air/particulate samples

• Perform surface sample testing using plate and/or swab method

• Performs weekly and Monthly HEPA inspections to ensure integrity of HEPA filters in cleanrooms

• Coordinate sampling activities with EM sampling team and manufacturing department as applicable.

• Compile EM Data into data sheets for analysis.

• Assist with data gathering for related EMPQ investigations.

• Assist with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Revisions as needed to support EMPQ.


Desired Qualities:

• 0-2 years of experience, preferably in Pharmaceutical/Medical Device

• Strong Communication and Project Management Skills

• Computer literate/knowledge of Microsoft office applications

• Must have good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team-based environment

• Must have a basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation

• Knowledge of aseptic technique and microbiological testing

• Familiarity with LIMS
