Wireless Engineer


Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in networking and a keen interest in wireless technologies. This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless communication systems. Testing and troubleshooting experience will be considered a significant asset.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy wireless networks, including configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of wireless equipment and associated software.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
  • Document network setup and maintain network configuration documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on wireless technologies.
  • Proficient in basic networking concepts including routing, switching, and firewalls.
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
  • Testing experience related to network performance and security assessments is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, or CompTIA Network+ are advantageous.
