We with a Global Leader and are seeking a Director/ Principal Architect to spearhead the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge data and analytics solutions. This individual will focus on advancing knowledge streaming architectures, and real-time analytics across a global enterprise, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and driving innovation in the use of emerging technologies. The role requires deep technical expertise as well as strong leadership skills to lead global teams and foster collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:


Technology Expertise:


  • Streaming Architectures: Build robust, event-driven streaming architectures leveraging technologies like Confluent Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure IoT Edge to support real-time data flows and decision-making.
  • Real-Time Data Processing: Lead the hands-on development and integration of streaming solutions using Databricks for real-time analytics and data processing to enable faster, data-driven decisions.
  • Data Integration: Integrate structured data from enterprise transactional systems, trusted third-party providers, and unstructured data sources, including IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) data from manufacturing sites, to create comprehensive data ecosystems.


Leadership & Strategy:

  • Cross-Disciplinary Engagement: Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams including IT, data science, engineering, and operations to ensure that architectural designs meet corporate goals, encouraging teamwork and a unified vision.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects, engineers, and other team members to foster continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Drive innovation by promoting the adoption of industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies in streaming and knowledge graph solutions.


Why You?


Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in developing and delivering data and analytics solutions at scale.
  • 6+ years of hands-on programming experience with at least one of the following: Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Technology Expertise: Strong background in developing solutions using Neo4J, Anzo, Stardog, Confluent Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, and Databricks.
  • Cloud & Streaming Technologies: Proven experience integrating cloud platforms and event-driven streaming solutions into global-scale architectures.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with global teams while providing mentorship and technical guidance.


Preferred Skills:

  • IIoT & Edge Computing: Familiarity with IIoT data integration, especially within manufacturing environments.
  • Real-Time Analytics: Expertise in leveraging real-time analytics platforms for large-scale data processing.
  • Global Collaboration: Experience working in a global or multi-cultural environment and leading distributed teams.
