STAFFING MANAGER


Diversified Personnel Services (DPS), social enterprise division of Opportunities, Inc., is seeking a highly-motivated professional to coordinate strategic recruitment and staffing operations. The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of the staffing industry, recruitment strategies, new business development, innovative workforce solutions and exceptional service delivery. This individual will join a team known for its “mind for business and heart for people.”

The Staffing Manager will achieve profit outcomes and manage outreach and staffing functions of multiple locations. The Staffing Manager will identify areas for growth, forecast labor demands and drive recruitment activities, ensuring compliance and exceptional customer service is delivered.


  • Essential Responsibilities Include:


  1. Build trust and establish credibility through community involvement and strategic partnerships
  2. Ensure Agency follows legal, ethical and professional employment practices
  3. Advance staffing initiatives, including commercial and alternative staffing models
  4. Provide oversight of sourcing, interviewing, outreach and recruiting
  5. Establish and grow client base
  6. Ensure Customer orders are filled timely with quality placements
  7. Develop and manage continuous outreach plan, including advertising, marketing and social media plans
  8. Develop and implement comprehensive staff training plans
  9. Monitor operational metrics and adjust to ensure budgetary goals are met
  10. Collaborate with Human Resources on Unemployment and Worker’s Compensation claims management initiatives
  11. Direct contracting, set bill rate, credit approval and collections
  12. Exhibit sense of urgency in all sales and service-related activity


  • Requirements Include:


  1. 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role within the staffing industry
  2. BS/BA in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related
  3. Experience with Avionte or similar ATS
  4. Commitment to exceptional customer service to all (staff, customers, applicants, employees)
  5. Ability to advise, counsel, guide and influence the opinions and decisions of others
  6. Proven knowledge of conformance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations and guidelines governing equal employment opportunity and nondiscrimination
