LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a contract Payroll Specialist. This position will sit mainly remote but looking for local candidates to Akron, OH due to training and need to be open to sitting onsite one day a week. This position will be processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll to assist the payroll team. The client uses Ceridian for timekeeping and processes payroll in house. This position is expected to be longer term contract.


Responsibilities:

  • Processing hourly and salary payroll
  • Processing weekly and biweekly payroll
  • Assisting employees with any payroll questions
  • Handling shift differentials


Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of payroll experience
  • Ceridian experience for full payroll timekeeping and processing required
  • Comfortable with formulas and formatting in Excel
