Majic Productions works with our clients from inception to installation to create technologically advanced spaces using state-of-the-art sound, video, lighting, and control equipment. From installing massive systems in new spaces to making small updates to our client’s existing equipment, our systems integration team works in conjunction with our expert technical staff to build a plan that is appropriate for our clients’ space, fits your budget, and is user-friendly. We have outfitted meeting rooms, credit unions, schools, churches, theaters, reception areas, cruise ships, and auditoriums.


The Drafter will assist in the development of audiovisual schematics and plans necessary for equipment installation. Majic Productions specializes in complex audiovisual systems that require detailed documentation for various trades and Majic installation staff. 


Responsibilities:


  • Work directly with Design Engineers to facilitate plans
  • Understand the overall expectations and timeline of the project 
  • Able to understand various architectural and schematic drawings
  • MEP coordination documentation for bid & Construction
  • CAD drafting of needed AV infrastructure
  • Schematic wiring diagrams of system deployment
  • Project manual creation for the general contractor
  • As built document generation upon project completion
  • Other duties as assigned 


Requirements: 


  • Minimum 5 years experience in providing electrical or low voltage plans & schematics
  • Strong experience with audio, video, lighting, and control systems in commercial applications
  • Knowledge of construction documentation standards
  • Revit/CAD drafting experience 
  • Dtools experience preferred
  • Knowledge of construction documentation and standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
