Radiologic Technologist – Travel Opportunity in Alpharetta, GA

Position: Radiologic Technologist

Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential for extension or conversion)

Shift: Day Shift (40 hours per week)


Job Description:

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our client’s medical facility in Alpharetta, GA. This is a travel assignment with the opportunity to extend or transition to a permanent position. In this role, the Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing support for various radiologic studies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Insert intravenous lines for radiologic procedures.
  • Perform imaging for myelograms, therapeutic chemotherapy, venograms, arthrograms, and other procedures requiring contrast medium injections.
  • Assist physicians with biopsy and aspiration procedures, adhering to sterile technique and preparing sterile trays with necessary supplies and instruments.
  • Provide on-call support for the Operating Room and GI Lab as scheduled.
  • Assist with patient transportation to and from the Emergency Room and Inpatient areas.
  • Perform portable X-ray imaging as ordered.


Qualifications:

  • Certification: Active Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • Experience: Experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting in various radiological studies.
  • Skills: Proficient in sterile technique and intravenous line insertion.


Pay Highlights:

  • Competitive and negotiable pay rates.
  • Weekly overtime available after 40 hours worked.
