This Fortune 500 automotive giant is making a huge push to modernize their manufacturing technology and processes, and they’re seeking early-in-career Electrical Engineers to help make it happen.

As an entry-level Controls Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on the plant floor, getting hands-on with the software & hardware of a wide variety of electrical components, ranging from PLC’s to hydraulics and everything in between

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • In the last semester of or having earned a completed bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with or exposure to PLC's (Siemens, etc)
  • Interest in being hands-on in a plant environment
  • BONUS: Experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding of lateral logic, experience with HMI software


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot issues with electrical components of the machinery (PLC's, hydraulics, HMI software, etc)
  • Collaborate with other teams and roles across the plant floor to create resolutions and implement them.
  • Interface with vendors/suppliers to identify equipment needs and feasibility
  • Collect/input data and perform root cause analysis
