Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of personal injury cases, from initial intake through to settlement.

• Conduct comprehensive case investigations to assess liability and damages.

• Draft and file necessary legal documents during the pre-litigation process.

• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel on behalf of clients.

• Provide exceptional client service, maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the progression of their cases.

• Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys to ensure effective case management.

• Conduct legal research, prepare legal briefs, and offer sound legal advice to clients.

• Review, draft, and interpret legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.

• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive and confidential information.

• Stay updated on state laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to personal injury cases.


Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Must be a Lawyer in Good Standing to practice law in the state of Illinois.


Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of personal injury experience

• Proven track record of managing personal injury cases and achieving successful outcomes.


Skills & Competencies:

• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures related to personal injury cases.

• Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct thorough legal research, interpret statutes, and apply legal precedents effectively.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft and review legal documents with precision.

• Case Management: Experience in managing multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring effective case progress.

• Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.

• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, coordinating efforts with paralegals, legal support staff, and fellow attorneys.

• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities, managing cases from intake to resolution.

• Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive matters.
