Our large Pharmaceutical Client located in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Building Engineer to join their growing team. The daily duties of this individual will be to troubleshoot, repair and maintain facilities that includes infrastructure, utilities and equipment while ensuring the systems safety, compliance and cGMP regulatory when applicable. They work under Facility managements direction to plan, schedule and/or perform all maintenance activities that include routinely Preventive Maintenance (PM) and daily, emerged troubleshooting. Performs and oversees scheduled maintenance activities (PMs) and repairs to the utilities systems (i.e. HVAC, liquid/gases systems, waste systems, etc.) and other mechanical systems and equipment throughout the facility. This individual will also perform daily walkthroughs and periodic inspections of the facilities infrastructures that includes buildings, utilities and equipment. Utilize, manage, and schedule outside resources, as required. Maintains Facility documentation in audit ready status at all times.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a building engineer OR 6+ years of experience as a building engineer in a GMP environment
  • 1 year of prior GMP or regulated industry experience is preferred
  • Previous experience servicing and maintaining building/facilities and process equipment and performing calibration checks on critical utility systems and process equipment
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).


Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $40.00-$55.00/hr

Hiring Method: 1 year-long contract with likely extensions and opportunity for permanent full-time hire



Compensation:

$40/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
