An international equipment manufacturer in the Farmington Hills, MI area is looking for an IT Specialist responsible for supporting end-users.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical desktop support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software and systems
  • Maintain IT equipment including telephones, laptops and desktops
  • Ensure IT security measures are in place
  • Provide support to users for VPN and remote access
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
  • Track and maintain IT expenses and help shape annual budget
  • Provide training on new products



Requirements:

  • Prefer at least an Associate's degree in related IT field
  • At least 3 years of related IT experience
  • Experience with helpdesk support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Experience with network security, wireless networking and virtualization
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
