The legal staff focuses on providing effective and efficient legal services to individuals struggling with various injury and accident claims. With a reputation for commitment and personalized assistance, they specialize in personal injury, disability, workers’ compensation, and social security cases.
Role Description
The Asheville office of Bridgman Gantt Law Offices is looking for a full time entry level paralegal to assist with social security disability, NC workers’ compensation, and personal injury claims. Candidate must be a quick learner, self-motivated, able to work independently, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and medical terminology knowledge. Duties include but are not limited to: ordering and organizing medical records and bills, filing online disability appeals and other court documents, drafting medical opinion letters and other documents, and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and Courts. Prior experience with injury law cases is preferred. This position is for our Asheville, NC office only.
Qualifications
- Legal Document Preparation, Document Review, and Research skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the legal field or related areas is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to personal injury, disability, and workers’ compensation is preferred
