Job Title: Technical Business Systems Analyst


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst with a prior experience as a developer and deep knowledge in SDLC. The potential candidate must be comfortable with SQL and being able to add columns and rows independently. This role involves a significant technical aspect, coupled with an understanding of how users interact with the systems from a business perspective.


Responsibilities:

  1. Analyzing business systems needs by aligning with the company’s business objectives.
  2. Assessing available technologies to develop and present feasible recommendations.
  3. Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrating an understanding of business issues and effectively communicating them to rest of the team.
  5. Performing data manipulations in SQL, including but not limited to inserting/deleting rows and modifying columns.
  6. Working closely with users to comprehend how they utilize the system.
  7. Documenting and outlining processes by monitoring progress, noting discrepancies, and identifying solutions.
  8. Continuously striving for system improvement by monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining systems and procedures.
  9. Addressing technical and design requirements.
  10. Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.


Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Prior experience as a developer and deep knowledge in SDLC.
  2. Strong technical skills in SQL, including the ability to perform independent data manipulations.
  3. Understanding complex business processes and experience translating them into technical requirements.
  4. Superior problem-solving capabilities with an ability to think on your feet.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with a team.
  6. Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with both IT and business users.
  7. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  8. Experience with business process improvement methodologies and business systems analysis techniques.
