Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial
Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, fully leased, and operating efficiently. This role requires strong
leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of property management best practices.
This role will also be the right-hand to our COO and will have the opportunity to take on strategic projects and initiatives outside of the traditional scope of property management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Projects: Work hand-on with our COO to continue to develop and craft our property management and asset management functions.
Business Strategy: As the right hand to our COO, you will play an integral role in our operations as they continue to grow and evolve with our rapidly scaling business.
Property Management: Oversee the daily operations of commercial properties,
including maintenance, tenant relations, and lease administration.
Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants,
addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
Financial Management: Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor financial
performance, and ensure timely rent collection and expense payments.
Lease Administration: Handle lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations,
ensuring compliance with lease terms and conditions.
Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair
activities, ensuring properties are in excellent condition.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers,
negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
Compliance: Ensure properties comply with all local, state, and federal
regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on property performance, including
occupancy rates, financial status, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial property management.
Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Valid real estate license (preferred).
