Job Description: The Senior Dot Net Developer will be at the forefront of our development projects, steering the team towards excellence in creating robust .NET applications. Your role involves a mix of hands-on development and leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior developers and providing level 3 production support when necessary. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining the reliability and performance of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of advanced .NET applications, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, promoting best practices and high coding standards.
- Act as primary point of escalation for L3 production support, using your expertise to resolve complex issues and minimize downtime.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and architectures that enhance application performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, from code refactoring to process optimization.
- Conduct code reviews, oversee deployment strategies, and ensure comprehensive documentation.
- Foster a culture of learning and growth within the team, conducting regular training sessions and one-on-one mentorship.
- Contribute to strategic planning and road mapping for future development projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development with a proven track record in leading projects.
- Demonstrated experience in L3 production support with a focus on quick resolution and preventive measures.
- Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, and Entity Framework.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Comfortable with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
- Leadership qualities with excellent communication and mentoring skills.
