Line Cook

Willimantic Brewing Company/Main Street Cafe is a historic restaurant and pub brewery located in Willimantic, CT. Originally founded in 1991 as a small deli in the old Capitol Theatre building on Main Street, the establishment has since moved to its current location in the 1909 U.S. Post Office Building. Renowned for its American craft-brewed beers and extensive menu, the restaurant retains early 20th-century architecture and post office memorabilia to create a unique dining experience.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Line Cook at Willimantic Brewing Company/Main Street Cafe in Willimantic, CT. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, collaborating with the culinary team, and ensuring food quality and presentation meet standards. Additionally, the Line Cook will assist in inventory management and adherence to food safety regulations.

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members
• Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
• Experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry is a plus
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is beneficial
