Location: 1 day onsite a week in either VA, TX, or VA / 4 days remote

Duration: 12 month contract + extensions

Pay Rate: $69-72/hr

Visas: W2 ONLY

Compensation:

$69/hr to $72/hr on W2

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law Compensation.


JOB DESCRIPTION

This Senior Fortinet Engineer will be supporting one of our largest telecommunication clients in a Federal Lab environment. Because of the nature of this environment, much of the work and equipment is confidential. However, this resource will interact with many internal and external teams, collaborate on solutions to solve complex problems, and ensure platforms remain ready to create the solutions our Public Sector customers count on.



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Senior experience testing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of Fortinet equipment (5-8+ years)

- Design & Network Planning experience

- FortiGate appliances and chassis and FortiManager

- BGP and IPSec experience

- Must have a Public Trust Security Clearance & be able to receive GSA Clearance as they will be working in a Federal Lab
