We are seeking a highly skilled Design Researcher to join our Design Team. Our team comprises a diverse group of professionals, including design researchers, UX designers, industrial designers, and visualization experts, all working together to push the boundaries of design and user experience.


In this role, we are looking for a seasoned practitioner with a strong track record in design research. The ideal candidate will be adept at formalizing comprehensive research plans, meticulously structuring and executing field research, and displaying adaptability and resourcefulness in gathering both qualitative and quantitative insights.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed research plans that outline objectives and methodologies. Execute field research with precision, ensuring all data collected is reliable and valid.
  • Employ a variety of techniques to gather user insights, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies. Analyze data to uncover patterns, trends, and key findings.
  • Distilling complex user behaviors and data-driven insights into clear, concise, and actionable reports. Present findings in a way that informs and guides design and engineering decisions, ensuring our products meet user needs and expectations.
  • Work closely with design and engineering to integrate research findings into the development process. Communicate insights effectively across multidisciplinary teams to foster a user-centered design approach.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt research methods as needed to address evolving project requirements and constraints. Utilize innovative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and deliver meaningful insights.
  • Advocate for the voice of the customer in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional team discussions.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in design research, usability testing, and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of research techniques and tools, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting research findings to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with design software and tools for creating design artifacts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A portfolio demonstrating successful design research projects is a plus
