Economics Tutor

Dogwood Tutoring and Test Prep is seeking an outstanding Economics Tutor to work part-time during the school year, mostly in person at our professional learning center. Most of our economics students are in high school, where they take AP and IB courses -- college level curriculum. The economics tutor needs to be available two weekdays (Monday through Thursday) after 4:30 and Sundays. They will select the days and hours they are available for assignments. We pay $30 to $45 per hour, depending on the assignment.

With 13+ years in business, Dogwood Tutoring offers high-quality educational services to help high school and middle school students improve their grades in and standardized tests scores. Students typically come to our center for one-on-one sessions. The center is on Roswell Road near 285 in Sandy Springs. Requirements for Tutors:

• Must have a bachelor's degree. Master’s preferred
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be passionate about teaching and mentoring
• Must be available 2+ days after school, plus Saturday and/or Sunday - 12 months a year.
• Prefer people who live or work near Sandy Springs

Duties Include:

• Help students with high school courses including AP and IB levels
• Help 11th graders prepare for ACT math-science and SAT math
