Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator located in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and developing bid proposals; conducting site visits and measurements; reviewing and interpreting construction plans and specifications; communicating with contractors, clients, and project managers; and performing other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating in the commercial construction sector.
  • Strong analytical and math skills.
  • Experience with estimating software and computer spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, equipment, and labor requirements.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
