Responsibilities

  • Performs daily system monitoring, verifies the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviews system and application logs and verifies completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions.
  • Evaluate system performance results, response to incidents/problems, perform risk assessments, and evaluate performance metrics.
  • Ensure that systems configuration requirements properly integrate with existing systems processes.
  • Provides or assists in application administration, application patching/upgrades, and security remediation, executing approved scripts, maintaining various environments, and monitoring system performance.
  • Analyzes user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades.
  • Provide root cause analysis and communicate with user base about incident status and recommend solutions to fix issues.
  • Collaborate with systems development to ensure the proper development of system configuration requirements.
  • Provides advanced problem identification and resolution support services as well as performance monitoring and capacity planning support.
  • Reviews, recommends, and implements required system upgrades and patches.
  • Develop, identify, and resolve security vulnerabilities related to deployment and testing processes.
  • Analyzes the needs and requirements of users and develops documentation as needed.
  • Ensures the security, availability, performance, and scalability of our enterprise directory and collaboration infrastructure.






Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study
  • 3+ years of experience in System Analysis and/or Technical Support
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of computer hardware and software, networking; telecommunications, applications, and/or configuration management
  • Information Security or Cybersecurity Risk Management experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft Intune
