About the Position


GT&B seeks an Associate Attorney with a commitment to seeking justice for our clients through the delivery of exceptional legal services.


Recent graduates who are sitting for the July 2024 Ohio Bar Exam are encouraged to apply


Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing for and attending administrative workers' compensation hearings before the Industrial Commission of Ohio
  • Managing pre-litigation personal injury cases
  • Research, writing, and litigation support


Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and must be licensed to practice in Ohio. Applicants registered for the July 2024 Ohio Bar Exam may be considered depending on experience. Licensure in Michigan is a bonus.


The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, some knowledge of workers' compensation and/or personal injury law, some experience representing injured workers at hearings before the Industrial Commission of Ohio, and a willingness to learn. Litigation experience in personal injury or workers' compensation would be an added benefit.


The position is based in our main office in Maumee, Ohio. There will be occasional travel for hearings, depositions, mediations, court appearances, and to meet clients at the firm’s satellite offices throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
