Responsibilities:

• Experience in the install groundwater and surface water instrumentation systems in and around dams, levees, and CCR sites for collection of real time data.
• Collection and performance monitoring around the above
• Instrumentation and maintenance will include - inclinometers, water quality equipment (pH, ORP, DO, turbidity, conductivity), portable solar battery charging stations, and cellular and satellite communication systems.
• Field investigations utilizing various drilling methods and resources.
• Soil and rock logging, monitoring well construction, groundwater monitoring, and field data reporting.
• Experience in providing technical support and safety oversight to drilling contractors .
• 4-year degree in related field OR 3-10 years experience

***PPE and Driving to and from sites is required***

Notes:

Typical work week will be four 10s (Monday-Thursday)

Extensive travel throughout Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi will be expected

PFES will provide rental vehicle (will be reimbursed by client)

Worker will be reimbursed for gas/mileage/food/lodging when required to travel.
