Located in our beautiful Woodridge, IL facility and reporting to the Vice President of Client Services Group. The Electrical Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed electrical plans, layouts, and wiring diagrams based on engineering designs and specifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed electrical drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and single-line diagrams using AutoCAD software.
  • Prepare technical drawings and plans to ensure accurate representation of electrical systems.
  • Modify and update existing electrical drawings based on project changes and requirements.
  • Work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and other team members to gather necessary information and ensure design accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other departments to integrate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, and architectural plans.
  • Ensure all electrical drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Maintain organized records of all electrical drawings and related documentation.

Qualifications:

  • College degree or relevant trade experience.
  • Familiarity with Accubid or Vision/EBM.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or REVIT preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong Math Skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive
