Lighting Quotation Specialist

Position Overview: The Lighting Quotations Specialist is responsible for providing support to our prospective clients and sales team. Must have Lighting product knowledge, ability to generate submittals for approval, draft proposals, develop bids and quotations accurately and timely. You will collaborate with Sales and upper management.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lighting product knowledge, ability to generate submittals for approval.
• Ability to read & take off Architectural & Electrical drawings for quantities, run lengths, etc.
• Ability to Value Engineer projects to give savings to clients.
• Focus on customer service & responsiveness.
• Knowledge of & relationship with NY and/or NJ lighting reps a plus.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify all opportunities and make sure they are pursued.
• Time management, able to effectively prioritize duties and self-managed daily workload.
• Ability to multi-task and take on new responsibilities as the business expands.

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or associate Degree or relevant work experience.
• 5 years’ experience in lighting distribution estimating.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
