Transmission Design Engineer or Designer – Civil/Structural

$110,000 – $180,000, depending on experience and licensure
Our client is growing their Power Services team and hiring a Transmission Design Engineer or Designer to support utility-scale transmission projects. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and technical team working on impactful infrastructure across Texas.
What You'll Do
- Design overhead transmission structures using industry tools and standards
- Prepare calculations, drawings, and material specs
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver on-time, on-budget solutions
- Attend client meetings and help mentor junior staff
What You Bring
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering (preferred for engineers)
- PE or EIT in Texas required for engineering roles
- PLS-CADD expertise and CenterPoint design experience are must-haves
- Open to experienced designers without a degree who have strong transmission design background
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation a plus
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
