We're in search of a Director of Construction (HVAC Construction Projects Director) to fortify our team. As the Director of Constuction, you'll be pivotal in orchestrating the day-to-day activities of our HVAC contracting business, ensuring seamless project execution, elevating customer satisfaction, and propelling team performance. Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the coordination and management of HVAC projects from conception to fruition, guaranteeing timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with specifications.
• Guide a high-performing team of field technicians, project managers, and support staff in a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Provide mentorship and direction to field technicians, project managers, and support staff, fostering a positive work ethos and cultivating teamwork.
• Oversee all aspects of HVAC construction projects, from initial planning, scheduling, and budgeting to execution and successful completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, specifications, and quality standards.
• Effectively allocate resources to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations. Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless procurement and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries, resolving issues, and furnishing regular project updates. Cultivate enduring client relationships to foster enduring partnerships.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing training opportunities for your team to enhance their skills and stay ahead of industry advancements. Establish performance benchmarks and objectives for the team, monitoring progress and implementing strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.
• Develop and manage project budgets, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and client expectations. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA safety regulations and environmental requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, OR equivalent experience in commercial HVAC construction projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing commercial HVAC construction projects, ensuring on-time completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
• Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, design principles, and industry best practices.
• Proven leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
