Job Title: Finance Billing Business Analyst

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Finance Billing Business Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing processes, documentation, and data analysis. The candidate should be adept at communicating billing requirements, testing enhancements, and overseeing related responsibilities to ensure accurate and efficient billing operations. Experience with Quickbooks and Hubspot would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

· Documentation and Design:

o Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for billing processes, procedures, and data elements.

o Design and optimize billing workflows to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the billing cycle.

· Billing Requirements:

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze billing requirements.

o Translate billing requirements into clear and actionable specifications for implementation.

· Communication:

o Effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of billing-related initiatives.

o Conduct meetings and discussions to gather input and feedback on proposed billing changes.

· Testing and Quality Assurance:

o Develop test plans and execute testing activities for billing system enhancements.

o Ensure the quality and accuracy of billing processes through thorough testing procedures.

· Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process improvement within billing functions.

o Work closely with teams to implement changes that enhance overall billing effectiveness.

· Data Analysis:

o Analyze billing-related data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

o Utilize data-driven insights to optimize billing processes and address any anomalies.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance Billing Business Analyst role.

· Strong background in documenting and designing billing processes, procedures, and data elements.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

· Experience in translating billing requirements into actionable specifications.

· Proven track record of testing and quality assurance for billing systems.

· Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive positive changes in billing operations.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

· Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CPA) is a plus.
