Responsibilities include:

• Develop project cost forecasts for a portfolio of projects based on project schedule and project progress data.
• Support in developing and maintaining the project status reports and performance metrics.
• Coordinate and work with the project engineers, construction managers, and project managers to resolve project cost-related issues on their projects.
• Participate and assist in the project change management and trend process.
• Interfaces with accounting, and other Departments to ensure timely processing of project costs in SAP.
• Support project controls lead with the implementation of best practice project control processes and procedures.
• Support with project administration - project creation, purchase order creation, and closures in SAP.

Qualifications:

• (Associate degree, or BSc Degree,) preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5 - 10+ years of direct experience in engineering, procurement, and construction leading the cost control function for a major project.
• Demonstrate ability to understand a demanding, technical, and complicated project execution program; and the ability to communicate issues to a technical and management-level audience.
• Proficient in project budgeting and forecasting processes and procedures.
• Proficient in earned value management system (EVMS), including cost performance index (CPI), schedule performance index (SPI) cost variance (CV), and schedule variance (SV) analysis calculations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following processes and procedures.
• Proficient in SAP Project System module, and Plant Maintenance Module a plus.
• Proficient in Power BI a plus.
• Pipeline experience a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cost Consultant (CCC)/Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) is desirable but not required.
• PMI or AACEI member is desirable but not required.
