Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in processing difficult loans, including bond loans, and possess excellent customer service skills. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with consumers and a strong proficiency in reading tax returns and understanding income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage mortgage loan applications from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Handle complex loan types, including bond loans and other difficult loan structures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain clear, effective communication with borrowers, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
- Review and analyze tax returns, income documents, and other financial information to determine loan eligibility.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines throughout the loan process.
- Work collaboratively with underwriters, loan officers, and other team members to facilitate smooth loan processing.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple loan files simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
- Proven experience handling difficult loans and bond loans.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong ability to read and interpret tax returns and other financial documents.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be located in the Mountain Time Zone.
