We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Big Data Processing, Python, AWS, Glue, EMR, and Spark. This role requires a deep understanding of data pipeline architecture, data integration, and data processing to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our data systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, EMR, and Spark.
  • Implement data processing frameworks and ensure the quality and integrity of data across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Optimize data workflows and processes for maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering and big data processing.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Proficiency with AWS services, particularly Glue and EMR.
  • Extensive experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with other big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts.
