Confidential-Healthcare is seeking a motivated Chemist to join our team. Due to expansion, this position for a Pharmaceutical / OTC / Cosmetic Formulator Chemist is now available in our manufacturing plant in South Florida. This position includes full participation in all phases of new and existing products development, including pre-formulation, formulation development, process development, scale up, process validation and tech transfer when necessary.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or Related Discipline.

Essential Duties:

·Develop new formulations and process control of production processes.

·Develop and maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies in the pharmaceutical industry.

·Develop, document, and maintain records of process performance.

·Perform laboratory testing on finished goods, raw materials, or finished goods that are not in compliance with regulatory requirements.

·Work with customers to ensure product quality and consistency.

·Maintain product quality standards for all products.

·Perform quality control testing on finished goods and analyze data to ensure that production processes meet established quality standards.

·Maintain product documentation including but not limited to: raw material information, finished goods information, troubleshooting information, etc.

·Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

·+2 years’ experience or relevant work in product development in a pharmaceutical / OTC / Cosmetic manufacturing environment required.

·Experience in QC or process control preferred.

·Pay attention to details and be thorough.

·Ability to communicate and work with others and keep good documentation.

·Able to handle multiple projects.

·Prioritize activities to meet required milestone in a fast pace environment.
