Mobile Refurbishment Quality Technician 4 -Irving, Texas.


Position Summary:

The QA Supervisor oversees the quality of the Mobile Refurbishment process, ensuring product quality and resolving issues related to refurbished phones. The role includes setting up quality systems, conducting audits, and working with both internal teams and third-party repair vendors to address quality concerns.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting on repair quality performance.
  • Meeting quality KPIs and improving device repair quality.
  • Managing an internal inspection team.
  • Developing audit checklists for new repair models.
  • Coordinating internal teams for root cause and corrective actions.


Preferred Skills and Attributes:

  • Familiarity with ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 standards and ISO 9000 (for audits).
  • Proficient in MS Office and statistical process control (SPC) tools like FMEA.
  • Strong background in the wireless industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in complex situations and strong relationship-building abilities.


Skill Sets:

  1. Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources.
  2. Problem-solving in diverse conditions, using creativity.
  3. Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships at all levels.


Education and Experience:

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.


Physical and Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 20% domestic travel.
  • Ability to operate test equipment and lift materials up to 50 pounds.
  • High hand/finger dexterity for repair work.
