The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly operating financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow and operating forecasts.
  • Provide executive summary report to stakeholders, summarizing monthly operating results and initiatives to improve financial performance.
  • Prepare annual budgets.
  • Support annual audit, cost report, and tax return preparation.
  • Support accounts payable and payroll functions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support financial software implementation for new clients.
  • Analyze all aspects of financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate and collaborate with departmental leaders and key stakeholders to stay abreast of spending, budgeting, reports, and evaluation.
  • Work closely with lender finance teams where necessary.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Senior living experience, with entrance fee community experience preferred
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
