1) Job Description for "Paralegal Role":-

As a Paralegal in Personal Injury Litigation you will play a pivotal role in managing multifaceted cases involving severe injuries and wrongful death. Your work will directly contribute to the Firm's ability to secure justice for victims of the most severe accidents and negligence.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Lead the discovery process, including drafting, reviewing, and managing responses.
  • Oversee case calendaring and ensure compliance with all legal deadlines.
  • Prepare and file complex legal documents with the courts.
  • Coordinate with the legal team to assist with trial preparations, including strategy discussions, drafting pivotal trial documents, and organizing case exhibits.
  • Supervise junior paralegals and legal assistants, providing guidance and mentorship.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation with a focus on complex cases.
  • Extensive knowledge of discovery processes and legal document preparation.
  • Thorough understanding of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Typing speed of at least 45WPM.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.


2) Job Description for "Legal Assistant Role":-

As a Legal Assistant in the Personal Injury Litigation team, you will support the Firm's senior attorneys and paralegals, helping to navigate complex litigation processes and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service in their pursuit of justice.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize legal calendars and critical court deadlines.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of advanced legal documents and briefs.
  • Support deposition and trial preparation activities, including organizing logistics and preparing detailed trial binders and exhibits.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping and file management.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a legal support role, with a strong preference for backgrounds in personal injury litigation.
  • Proficient in calendaring, e-filing, and legal documentation.
  • High competency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal management software.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish preferred.
