We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer with an EIT or PE certification to join their dynamic team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
  • Perform structural calculations and prepare detailed engineering reports.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure projects meet the highest standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • EIT or PE certification is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in structural engineering preferred.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
  • Strong understanding of building codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
