Senior Epidemiologist - Fixed Term Contract - Fully remote

Proclinical is seeking an Integrated Evidence Sr. Epidemiologist Contractor.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role will focus on designing and executing real-world studies, developing research protocols, and collaborating with project leadership to define project scope. This position requires a strong background in epidemiology and the ability to interact with clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a related discipline (PhD preferred, or Masters with significant experience)
  • Experience in executing integrated evidence and real-world evidence (RWE) strategies
  • Experience supporting RWE generation
  • Understanding of pharma industry and product development phases
  • Ability to guide epidemiological applications in complex environments
  • Experience in clinical research and real-world protocol development
  • Knowledge on quantitative methods in epidemiology, statistics, health economics, health outcomes research, with the focus on data analysis using observational data
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

The Sr. Epidemiologist's responsibilities will be:

  • Contribute to real-world study design
  • Design research protocols and direct data analysts in tasks such as patient selection, variable creation, and analytical dataset creation
  • Work with project leadership to define project scope and develop approaches
  • Develop solutions to client business problems using problem-solving skills and frameworks
  • Interact with clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries
  • Conduct market and desk research to derive insights and inform client decision-making
  • Analyze key client issues and develop hypotheses
  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative analyses to test and analyze hypotheses
  • Synthesize and communicate results to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement solutions
  • Take responsibility for project deliverables
  • Drive problem-solving and advance sales and marketing capabilities
