We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes, from inventory management to shipping logistics and fleet coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain procedures and logistics operations, coupled with exceptional organizational and communication skills.


Some specific day-to-day activities include:

Inventory Management

Receive incoming inventory packages, conduct thorough counts and inspections.

Match packing slips with purchase orders (PO) and ensure accuracy.

Fulfill purchase orders and stock inventory appropriately.

Conduct regular cycle counting and update bin labels as necessary.

Manage inventory levels, including setting and maintaining minimum stock levels.

Handle additions, deletions, and adjustments to inventory.

Submit work orders related to inventory needs.

Process returns and maintain overall organization of inventory storage areas.


Shipping & Receiving

Coordinate shipments via UPS, FedEx, and USPS.

Generate shipping labels and schedule pickups.

Ensure accurate packaging of shipments.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping/receiving area.

Field and address shipping requests from various departments.


Logistics

Interface with third-party brokers to coordinate logistics operations.

Facilitate effective communication regarding shipping schedules and delivery details.

Provide quoting for shipping and logistics services.

Schedule shipments and coordinate with customers/receivers to ensure timely delivery.

Prepare and manage packing slips for outgoing shipments.


Fleet Management

Monitor and manage the fleet logistics board.

Track vehicle movements and operational statuses.


Manage additions and deletions to the fleet.

Conduct weekly lot checks and maintain vehicle records.

Utilize vehicle tracking software to oversee daily statuses and address discrepancies.

Coordinate key management and conduct monthly fleet audit meetings.

Generate new vehicle work orders and manage IPASS accounts.


Daily Office Duties

Document and greet visitors to the office.

Assist with additional tasks related to daily office operations.

Support company meetings and events as required.


What is Required to be Successful in This Position:

High School Diploma or GED

2-3 years experience in supply chain management or logistics

Proficiency in shipping and logistic management software, experience with Upkeep preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent task and time management skills


Pay Range for this Role is up to $58,000 a year.
