Medical Biller

Our client, a well-established healthcare provider providing multiple services, is hiring a Medical Billing Specialist This position provides multiple service lines and avenues for growth

Address: Pueblo, CO 81001(hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote)

Pay Rate: $26.56-$31.77

Hours: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm

Day to day:

- Research and respond to patients account questions

- AR follow up

- AR clean up

- Payment monitoring

o Research and resolve payment discrepancies

- Reconciling accounts

- Processing adjustments

- Correct and resubmit denied claims

- Consulting with EHR teams

- Resolving help desk tickets related to patient accounts

- Generate monthly aging reports

Requirements:

1. Associates degree in related field AND

2. 5 years patient billing and medical AR experience- MINIUM

3. Behavioral Health billing experience (preferred)

4. Certified in Medical/Behavioral Health Billing and/or Coding (preferred)
