ENG Bauen have been mandated by SVP's within our most prestigious client to identify a highly strategic and entrepreneurial project management professional who can be trusted to define, lead and drive a critical project from its early FEL-1 through to FID award and then eventual, construction and completion.


Our client, a world leading petrochemical manufacturer, is continuing its development into plastic circularity and sustainability with a major multi-million dollar CAPEX project ($500M+) within Houston, Texas. The project itself will be a state-of-the-art facility containing the very forefront of chemical and plastic technology, all of which has been organically developed by our client and it is the cornerstone of their global growth plans.


This opportunity will place you in a highly strategic position working alongside senior executives within the group to develop not only this project but develop and support the foundations of the overall execution strategy for a series of similar projects globally. The group itself is a highly dynamic international group of industry experts spearheading decarbonisation efforts and technology upgrades across the global site network and as such, this position will demand flexibility and international travel.


The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • 15+ years in Project Management positions
  • A petrochemical/downstream industry specialist
  • 10+ years of major capital project experience $500M+
  • Collaborative and highly entrepreneurial mindset and team culture
  • Experience working with the FEL methodology
  • Experience working a contingent role
  • Experience working for an owner/operator in the energy sector
  • Experience managing EPCm Engineering partners
