Required Skills and Experience *

-Microsoft Windows Server 2008

-Fibre Storage - how it connects

-NAS, SAN - checking storage arrays, file transfers

-Cisco Routing Protocols

-VLAN trunking, vPC config

-VMWARE - building from ground up

-Understand all hardware back end communication

-Ccna level experience (certification a plus). Advanced knowledge of IP addressing.

-Linux: basic level of understanding to do install and follow instructions.


Nice to Have Skills and Experience

* Good past background in security

* Must be able to pass maximum and full drug testing


Job Description *

- Insight Global is looking for a systems/network infrastructure engineer to join our manufacturing customer and oversee two system admins This is a direct hire opportunity, and this individual will be responsible for overseeing all our monitoring processes for internal servers and switches. They will also oversee design of new features, building out the virtual server's templates, controlling and managing the storage infrastructure, and completing installations of new hardware servers. They would be the top tier support for everything they would handle all the computer infrastructure for back-end servers and all the virtualizations. This is an amazing opportunity, and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running
