The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and manage Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment using GitLab.
  • Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm chart development.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Write and maintain scripts for system maintenance and operations across Shell Scripting and PowerShell.
  • Ensure code quality and security with SonarQube, conduct vulnerability scans with NexusIQ Scan, and perform static code analysis with Fortify Scan.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices in the early stages of software development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the Azure cloud environment.
  • Document all processes and ensure that all systems are compliant with industry standards and company policies.


Requirements:

You are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services and management.
  • Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Solid scripting skills in Shell Scripting and PowerShell.
  • In-depth knowledge of security tools such as SonarQube, NexusIQ Scan, and Fortify Scan.
  • Proven track record with CI/CD pipeline tools and processes, preferably with GitLab.
  • Experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Helm chart creation and management.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
