Temp Barista

Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is looking for a Temporary Barista to assist their Boerum Hill Brooklyn café September 24th-30th.

Hours: 8am-4:30pm.

Duties:

• Welcome & greet all customers upon entry
• Ensure guests receive assistance in a timely manner
• Provide knowledge on menu items
• Utilize the POS system to process sales for merchandise & café food/ drink
• Support staff with cleanliness, dishes, and item replenishment
• Serve guests at the correct table number per their order
• Complete food & beverage orders using café machinery
• Work alongside other baristas to manage customer tickets
• Handle any customer inquires in a timely manner or refer them to management

Requirements:

• Previous Barista experience is required - must be fully trained with commercial grade coffee machines
• Must have NYC Food Handlers Certification.
• Must be fully available September 24th-30th.
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
