Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Automotive Body Shop Painter located in Paterson, NJ. As a Painter, you will be responsible for properly preparing surfaces and applying Axalta Imron or Rival paint to vehicles to ensure a high-quality finish. You will also mix paint over the scale and keep records in the ColorNet computer system. You will be responsible for color matching, using a color-eye [Valtek will train you] priming, sanding, and buffing tasks to ensure that the vehicles are restored to their original condition. Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Body Shop Painter or similar role
• Knowledge of different painting techniques and materialss, including base coat/clear cot
• Ability to match and mix paint colors accurately
• Experience with surface preparation and repair techniques
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
• Ability to work with HVLP paint tools and equipment
• Understanding and adherence to EPA, OSHA & Valtek safety protocols and procedures
• Good teamwork skills
