The ideal candidate will be able to work with multiple attorneys and clients in a professional and organized manner. Proficiency with Excel in the the Microsoft 365 Suite is also necessary. Some of our clients have larger estates and we utilize Excel in organizing marital balance sheets and other spread sheets that can impact arguments in court. We utilize technology to the best of our abilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review and draft initial legal documents for attorney review
  • Organize discovery answers to Production Requests and Interrogatories
  • Draft initial Marital Settlement Agreements, Judgment for Dissolution of Marriage, and Allocation Judgments pursuant to Attorney's notes
  • Conduct e-filing for pleadings and notices in multiple counties
  • Create and maintain case files
  • Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
  • Conduct legal research


Qualifications

  • Experience as a paralegal
  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
  • Fluent in Spanish (written and oral)
