Senior Accountant - Up to $88k + generous bonus

Financial Services organization looking for 3-5 year Corporate Accountant. This role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 from home) with very generous bonuses.


Responsibilities

  • Execute all corporate accounting close activities for assigned functional areas.
  • Prepare, review, approve, and post journal entries.
  • Conduct monthly general ledger account reconciliations and review the team's work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee processes for analyzing domestic and international business operations and obligations to ensure accurate financial recording.
  • Identify and address issues independently. Lead efforts to research problems, develop recommendations, resolve complex issues, and implement changes.
  • Design, recommend, and implement internal control procedures to ensure proper recording and reporting of financial positions and to prevent significant errors in accounting records.
  • Prepare and produce monthly reports and returns required by senior management and regulators. Support external auditors during the annual audit.
  • Coach and train team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • CPA preferred
