Pay: $28 - $30 per hour (Based on Experience)

Experience: 3+ years of full-cycle payroll

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist for a direct hire position located in Fullerton, California. Our client, a reputable organization, is looking for an experienced individual to manage full-cycle payroll processes. If you have expertise in payroll, experience with Paycom and ADP WFN, and strong Excel skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Full-Cycle Payroll: Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including deductions, garnishments, and adding new employees to the system.
2. Perform bi-weekly payroll
3. Employee Payroll: Perform payroll for a workforce of 300+ employees.
4. Balance payroll budget including commissions, bonuses, regular and OT wages.
5. Review timecard punches and make edits if needed.
6. Retrieve appropriate approval from manager for timecards
7. Set up direct deposits
8. Multi-State Payroll: Handle payroll responsibilities for multiple states, including California and Pennsylvania.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years relevant experience in full-cycle payroll processes.
2. Exposure to Paycom and ADP WFN.
3. Familiarity with multi-state payroll, including California and Pennsylvania.
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
5. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in payroll data entry.
6. Effective communication and organizational skills.
