PowerApps Developer (PowerAutomate, Canvas) - Contract Position

Location: Remote (local preferred- Milwaukee, WI)

Duration: 6 months to 1 year

Company Overview: We are seeking a skilled PowerApps Developer to join our team on a contract basis. Our company operates within the realm of Dynamics 365 CRM and is in the process of expanding into Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O). With a focus on utilizing PowerAutomate, Canvas, and potentially PowerBI, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and customization of applications to enhance business processes. While SQL proficiency is essential, familiarity with AX2012 is beneficial but not mandatory, as a willingness to learn is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize PowerApps solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Implement PowerAutomate workflows to automate processes and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure security and permissions are appropriately configured within PowerApps.
  • Integrate PowerApps with other Microsoft technologies such as PowerBI.
  • Assist in migrating on-premises SQL databases to cloud-based solutions.
  • Adapt to and potentially contribute to the transition from Dynamics 365 CRM to full Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing PowerApps solutions and Canvas apps.
  • Proficiency in PowerAutomate for workflow automation.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, with experience in on-premises environments.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM is preferred; willingness to learn AX2012 and Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility to work remotely, with the possibility of occasional onsite collaboration if local.
