Senior Human Resources Generalist
Full-Time | Arizona | 100 miles northwest of Phoenix
Join a leading mining operation as a Senior Human Resources Generalist and serve as a trusted HR partner to employees, leaders, and operations. This role provides strategic and hands-on support across employee relations, investigations, performance management, compliance, workforce planning, and HR programs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and dispute-resolution processes.
- Advise leaders and employees on HR policies, employment practices, and applicable laws.
- Partner with operations and HR leadership on performance management, talent development, succession planning, and workforce needs.
- Support employee engagement, change management, coaching, and organizational development initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.
- Lead HR projects and process improvements while supporting a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other HR team members.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional HR experience, including 2+ years of HR Generalist experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Ability to handle complex workplace issues, resolve conflict, and make sound decisions with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication, coaching, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and adaptability.
Preferred: HR, Business, or related degree; PHR/SPHR certification; mining or industrial experience; experience with arbitration or formal dispute-resolution processes.
