BIM TECHNICIAN – CIVIL ENGINEERING

Established in 2007, we have successfully completed thousands of projects nationwide, ranging from small residential subdivisions to large-scale highway and airport projects.


Our main services are:

  • Modeling: Preparation of 3D grade control models for sitework contractors using automated machine control
  • Engineering: Value engineering of grading plans for land development projects
  • Surveying: Construction stakeout, aerial drone surveys, as-builts surveys, and topographic surveys
  • BIM Modeling & Coordination: Preparation of 3D models of proposed & existing underground utilities (storm, sanitary, water, electric, telecom, etc.), as well as coordination meeting attendance, clash detection & model adjustments to address clashes.

We are seeking a full-time BIM Technician - Civil for our or Wilmington, DE office. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, technology-oriented, proficient with CAD software, and has experience working as a BIM Technician, BIM Manager, Civil Designer or Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate must be able to follow proper procedures, perform accurate calculations, and work in a team environment. Local candidates only.


Requirements:

  • A passion for the civil engineering/construction industry and a strong focus on quality
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D (Pipe Networks, Pressure Networks, Part Builder)
  • Minimum associate degree in civil engineering, surveying, or related field OR equivalent combination of experience. 
  • Experience using CAD software for land development or heavy/highway 3D design or modeling
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
